poor lighting language barrier
the location worked fine. it was near restaurants and bars.
I found some issues, though. the staff seemed to have a real problem understanding english. every time they booked a taxi for me, the price doubled compared to when i booked independently. plus, the lighting in the room was ridiculously dim. Made it hard to see anything.

friendly staff clean room
staff was very friendly and helpful. my room was very clean. breakfast had good food and many options. there were some queues at the only coffee machine, though.
the hotel beach was limited and rocky.

distant location late towels
I wasn't thrilled that our room wasn't in the main building. it was across the road and up a hill. That felt disconnected. also, getting fresh towels reminded me of a chore. we had to call every day to get enough for our family, and beach towels weren't available until almost noon. that's a bit late when you want to start your day at the beach!!!
